The Missouri Department of Conservation has released hunting numbers.
The MDC says deer hunters have harvested a little over 10,500 deer during the antlerless portion of the Fall firearms deer season. That is well above last year's numbers, which totaled over 6,600. The anterless portion goes from December 6th, through December 8th.
Meanwhile, archery hunting season continues through January 15th in Missouri.
